Engineering a New World

Something Can Be Done About It

New Human Rights Website for France

Just saw the new Human Rights website for France (http://www.humanrights-france.org).  Though I’m mostly american, I’m still 1/4 French, and as such I do have some interest in ensuring that French people continue to have basic human rights.  One of these basic rights is the right to be able to practice one’s own religious beliefs, which – strangely enough – has been increasingly difficult to do in France.  You’d think that in such a modern country, one would never have such problems, but this hasn’t been the case of late.

The site has several feature sections:

International Actions for Tolerance

Human Rights Activists

• Kofi Annan

• L. Ron Hubbard

• David Miscavige

• Nobel Laureates

European criticisms

Blacklists of Companies

Publications

Documentation of Intolerance

Discrimination by Religion

Hearings/Briefings
